The height is somehow similar to Fokker and embraer?

Regarding FAA certification., the reason is very understandable given the American ways of restricting Chinese economy. The application had been submitted to FAA far earlier than to EASA. Since earlier 2010s, there was words from the FAA the certification was to be delayed to the following year. Till now, the still haven’t carried out all work required for certification. No one knows the exact meaning of the “next year”.

I enjoy your flight reports very much. One thing that disturbed me on your report on the ARJ21 airplane was the fact that you were wearing flip-flops on the flight. If there had been an emergency evacuation at any point on this flight it is important that passengers wear shoes that would be more suitable to a rapid exit from the aircraft. If the aircraft stopped on rough ground or there had been a fuel spill or even a fire those flip-flops would likely make a bad situation much worse. As an airline employee for over 30 years, I have always been concerned with safety. This situation struck me as a chance no one should take. Best regards, Ron Nantes.

They are still in the application for certification stage.
