I was lucky enough to find a very “reasonable” round trip fare from San Diego(SAN) (Delta)>LAX ==>Lax>CDG == CDG>OTP then OTP>CDG ==> CDG>JFK ==> JFK>SAN in April \ May (I believe my total fare after taxes was 11k (I know that sounds expensive and is, but normal fares were running 11k each way for it).
The La Premiere service was absolutely amazing and I believe has ruined me for other carriers for now (especially the ground service). Being escorted to and from gates and La Premiere lounge in a wonderful luxury car (DS aka Citroen for me). Being brought thru security and passport authorities kept.
The only bad part of my trip was flying from CDG to JFK. It was a morning \ daytime flight and the sun was glaring thru the windows, so I kept the 4 window shades shut for pretty much the whole flight; and it was a much shorter flight as well.
I can’t wait to do it all over again and can’t wait for the refreshed la premiere to come out and to more aircraft.

Hi anyone know if booking an award with flying blue program but crediting it to delta skymiles, will I still be eligible for a paid upgrade at checkin? Thanks in advance.

Like Lufthansa and Qatar Airways ,has been up there with food as always! Ambiance reminds me of Qatar A380s First class seat. Oman First class, i hear is very good and should be up there with the very best! Up and coming Airline that should worry Emirates and Qatar and Etihad as on a par now!

Shame the livery is SOOOOOOOO white! Boring and Blande! You thick the French with all that ‘Chic’
could do something better than that! Awful the all white livery!!

Seen much better concepts liveries on google images by artists! Be inspired by them if anyone from Air France branding is reading……The livery lets you down.lol….

Lufthansa in Frankfurt also offers Limo service from the First Class Terminal by Porsche or other luxury cars to the airplane by a nice ride on the airport, similar to Air France, the First Class Terminal of Lufthansa is very well designed with excellent foods……

Others do get a personal assistant, not an personal escort for pick up from connecting flight. Good for you!
