The subject matter of Economics has been undergoing rapid change during the last two decades with the advent of new technologies and new methods of production and distribution. Several economies have embarked on new paradigms in their approach to improve the welfare of their people. Of which, the theoretical underpinnings are continuously being re-examined and re-tested to investigate its validity in a changing global environment. At this juncture it is imperative to have a common dialogue among young minds for rethinking approaches to development.

Format:
The event will comprise of a Plenary Session with renowned senior scholars, followed by parallel sessions for young scholar presentations. For the parallel sessions all the papers will be refereed before being accepted for presentation. Additionally, case studies from some of the sub-themes of the event will be considered in Panel discussions. We expect to bring well established scholars for the Panel discussions. The Panels will provide broad points for wide discussion on the themes of Economic impacts of Climate Change, Economics of Innovation and Information Economics.

Submit a Full Paper and your Curriculum Vitae (CV); and complete the application form to be considered for the young scholar presentation parallel sessions. Selected participants will be provided with a travel stipend and shared accommodation to facilitate their participation at the event in Mumbai, India.
